STOVE PROBLEMS
WON’T TURN ON/IGNITE
When your gas stove will not turn on ignite, check the pilot light. When the problem is with an electric stove, make sure it is plugged in and the circuit breaker is on. If you have to call us, we will typically need to fix an oven burner igniter, a bake and broil element, the infinite switch, or a surface element. We carry the part and tools to make these repairs on all major brands.
BURNER/OVEN WON’T HEAT
When the oven or just a burner will not heat up you need help. Call us for same day repairs. When the oven does not heat up it has a bad oven sensor or the bake element is broken. And, when a burner won’t work you have a bad burner switch or terminal block. These are problems we can fix in an hour or two and on the same day that you call us for help.
TIMER/PROGRAM ISSUES
When the stove settings or timer do not work it is because the control board is shot. This part needs to be replaced. We carry control boards for Sears, Kenmore, LG, GE, and other major brands. All of the control boards will carry a warranty as will our labor.
OVEN IS TOO HOT
You need a hot oven to bake but when the oven is too hot it will burn the food and can be dangerous. Call us for this potentially dangerous issue and we can fix it the same day. It is typically a bad sensor or broken thermostat. We can fix this on all major brands and on the same day that you call.
IGNITER WON’T LIGHT
When the stove igniter glows but does not light your stove has a damaged safety valve, malfunctioning electronic control, bad temperature sensor, or broken surface igniter. Call us and we will send a certified technician to repair the part or replace it as needed.
DOOR WON’T OPEN
If you have a brand new self-cleaning oven you may encounter a problem unique to these newer models. You will run the self-cleaning cycle and when the oven is done with the cycle, the door will not open! Lucky for you, we keep current on all new brands and technologies. Our certified technician will check out the thermostat, seal, door latch, and whatever else is necessary to resolve this problem.
